Who is Becca?

I'm a degreed accountant (yes I got an A in intermediate accounting class – IYKYK) and have worked most of my days in a corporate setting in accounting, finance and project management. Because I love learning and research, I've also obtained my PMP certification. Can I just say that test was ridiculously hard. But i digress.

Even though I worked for a long time in a professional corp setting, on the side, I've had a strong passion for all things real estate and of COURSE DIY.  Wellllll - being a single mom for a VERY long time kinda made DIY a MUST rather than a super passion...but - I now love it so much and yes – I’d classify it as a passion.  I bought my first short term rental in a spot I love to go spend time - in beautiful Florida, close to award winning Ana Maria Island beaches. My second little house is newer (to me) and she's just so cute.  Also on the coast...this time in Texas. I renovated both places and they are both filled with my love (and endless obsession to make sure it’s all perfect for my guests).

So of course, obtaining my real estate license was a very logical step. And again - with all the questions I ask...it was bound to happen.  Fun Fact – Texas has a LOT of hours required to complete before taking their (very hard) test. The highest requirements in the country.

As I've gotten older, and more of my friends have started down the retirement road, I have realized just how difficult it is to navigate Medicare (by the calls telling me just how hard of a time they were having) and how confusing everything is. And again - here we are with all the questions - inquiring minds want to know after all.  So I decided that I would like to be the one to help seniors navigate a very important part of their life. I ask so many questions anyway - why not help with the knowledge I have.  So, that has led me to getting my insurance license so I can do just that ....help. To be fair – I really started down the road to figure it out for myself and quickly found how much help is really needed.

 

And I love helping.  It is something that gives me a great deal of joy and makes my heart smile. So I hope I can help you….friend.
